The Articles In “The Cut”, Does It Confirm Or Deny Rumors About The Harry And Meghan’s Children – Royal Reporter Responds

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have learned “no lessons,” a longtime royal reporter claim.

After The Cut published Markle’s bombshell cover story Monday, Daily Express royal correspondent Richard Palmer tweeted about some of the “jaw-dropping moments” in the interview, which he feels suggest that “tone-deaf Harry and Meghan have learned no lessons.”

Perhaps the most “jaw-dropping” topic discussed by the biracial former actress, 41, was the “structure” of how photos of her children were shared with the public, who she claimed used the opportunity to sling racial slurs when she was an active member of the royal family.

Markle explained that she was expected to give pictures of her now-3-year-old son, Archie, to the Royal Rota, the press pool that covers Queen Elizabeth II and her line of succession.

“Why would I give the very people that are calling my children the N-word a photo of my child before I can share it with the people that love my child?” she argued in the story. “You tell me how that makes sense and then I’ll play that game.”

The “Suits” alum, who is also mom to 1-year-old daughter Lilibet, previously addressed the racist media coverage that drove her and her husband away from the royal family and off social media in a polarizing sit-down interview with Oprah Winfrey in March 2021.

The cyberbullying was “almost survivable,” Markle explained at the time, revealing that it even led her to experience suicidal thoughts.

The Duchess of Sussex also told Winfrey, 68, that there were “concerns and conversations” within the royal family about the color of her son’s skin ahead of his arrival.

“I was a bit shocked,” Harry, 37, interjected at the time, noting that he was “never going to share” who made the comment about Archie’s complexion.

The relative in question has since been reported to be Harry’s father, Prince Charles, but a spokesperson for the Prince of Wales insisted to The Post that the speculation was “fiction and not worth further comment.”

Despite the denial, Markle feels Harry “lost” his father following the pair’s January 2020 exit from the royal family.

“Harry said to me, ‘I lost my dad in this process.’ It doesn’t have to be the same for them as it was for me, but that’s his decision,” she told The Cut when asked about her falling out with her own father, Thomas Markle.

As for the possibility of familial reconciliations, the “Deal or No Deal,” alum replied, “I think forgiveness is really important. It takes a lot more energy to not forgive. But it takes a lot of effort to forgive. I’ve really made an active effort, especially knowing that I can say anything.”

A source clarified to Page Six exclusively that Meghan actually meant to say she did not want Harry to lose his relationship with his dad — and not that it was already “lost.”
