David and Victoria Beckham enjoy a double date night with Lionel Messi and his wife Antonela Roccuzzo in Miami
David and Victoria Beckham enjoyed a double date night with Lionel Messi and his glamorous wife Antonela Roccuzzo in Miami, on Friday.
The two power couples stepped out in style as they dined at swanky Japanese-inspired steakhouse, Gekko, where a ribeye steak costs $1200.
David, 48, put his tan and tattoos on display in an open-collar linen shirt and navy trousers, which he teamed with beige suede shoes.
Designer Victoria, 49, showed off her slim frame in a form-fitting black pannelled midi dress and cropped cardigan, while boosting her height with sky-high stilettos.
Argentina legend, Messi, 36, wore an eye-catching shirt with beige chinos and box-fresh white trainers.
His glamorous influencer wife Antonela, 35, channeled her inner Barbie in a baby pink mini dress, which boasted a sweetheart neckline, and which displayed her tanned legs.
They were joined by Messi’s former Barcelona teammate and new Inter Miami signing Sergio Busquets, 35, and his girlfriend Elena Galera.
The MLS club’s co-owner Jorge Mas, 60, and his wife Aleyda were also at the group gathering.
SoFlo hotspot Gekko is owned by Bad Bunny and restaurateur David Grutman and blends elements of a traditional steakhouse with Japanese cuisine, including sushi and sashimi.
The restaurant, located in the Brickell neighborhood of Miami, has already hosted a number of A-Listers.
Beckham and Messi appear to have a close relationship with the former England star recently claiming that bringing Messi to Inter Miami was one of the best moments of his life.
He told The Athletic: ‘I never thought I would have the same feeling as an owner as I had when I was a player.
‘When I got the phone call (to confirm Messi was joining), I had the feeling I had when I walked out at Old Trafford or Wembley.
‘I was like, “We’ve just beaten all competition to sign the greatest player to ever play our game”.
‘This will be up there with the biggest moves in American sporting history.’
When asked if it was one of the best moments of his life, Beckham responded: ‘Without a doubt’.
