A manhunt has been launched for a man suspected of stabbing a man and assaulting a woman in London before fleeing to Hampshire.
On Friday, Sam Gray, 23, is believed to have fled the scene after the attack in Uxbridge, west London.
Metropolitan Police officers were called to an address on Arklay Close at around 10:40pm.
The force said they found a 19-year-old with multiple stab wounds who was rushed to hospital with ‘non-life-changing injuries’.
A woman, 24, had suffered minor injuries and did not require medical treatment.
Gray was known to the two victims, detectives believe.
The Met Police said in a statement Sunday evening: ‘It is believed Gray made off in a Peugeot with the registration KT13 KNW and detectives believe he may now have left the London area.’
Police have launched an appeal to track down Gray, calling on the public has been to be on the lookout – but not to approach – the suspect.
Gray has ties to Eastleigh, a town in Hampshire around 60 miles southwest of Uxbridgem, ‘and it is believed he may have returned to that area’.
‘The public are urged not to approach Gray if they see him but to call police immediately instead,’ the Met stressed.
