Monegasque royal Pierre Casiraghi and his wife Beatrice Borromeo appeared smitten at the Cannes Film Festival. The couple, holding hands, stepped out on Wednesday and looked deeply in love as they graced the red carpet.

Beatrice, 38, dazzled in a stunning crushed velvet maxi dress in plum. The journalist and TV presenter complemented her elegant gown with metallic heels and a matching jewelry set, featuring a fused silver hoop necklace and drop earrings.

Her hair and makeup exuded old Hollywood glamour, with her honeyed blonde locks styled in undulating waves flipped to one side. She highlighted her features with sculpting bronzer, matte peach lipstick, and telescopic mascara.

Pierre, the son of Princess Caroline of Monaco, looked debonair in a royal blue tuxedo, crisp white shirt, and smart bow tie. The couple attended the premiere of “Le Comte de Monte-Cristo” at the Palais des Festivals. Also present were Swiss actress Souheila Yacoub and Formula 1 driver Pierre Gasly.

Pierre and Beatrice met while studying at university in Milan in 2008. After Pierre proposed with a sparkling pink diamond ring, they wed in a beautiful ceremony in 2015.

Their civil ceremony was held in Monaco on July 25, followed by a party at the Grimaldi Palace and the Hotel de Paris in Monte Carlo, hosted by Princess Caroline of Monaco and Prince Albert II.

Caroline has been married three times, starting with banker Philippe Junot. The couple married in 1978 but divorced two years later without having any children; the Catholic Church annulled their marriage in 1992.

On December 29, 1983, Caroline married Italian power boat racer and businessman Stefano Casiraghi. They had three children: Andrea, Charlotte, and Pierre. They remained together until Stefano’s tragic death in a power boating accident in 1990.
