The Duchess of Edinburgh looked magnificent as she joined her husband Prince Edward for another busy day in the Scottish capital.

Sophie, 59, was spotted on the final day of the General Assembly at New College in Edinburgh, which included a visit from Justin Welby, the Archbishop of Canterbury. The afternoon’s closing ceremony welcomed new staff to the church and featured addresses from the Moderator and the Duke of Edinburgh.

Sophie dazzled in a recycled designer dress from the luxurious Italian brand Etro. The tiered frock was crafted from black fabric adorned with brightly-colored ditsy flowers. The ankle-grazing number boasted a collared neckline and a tapered waistline for an added feminine touch.

The Duchess had previously worn this waist-cinching dress during her visit to Ukraine in April, demonstrating solidarity with women, men, and children affected by the conflict, as part of her ongoing efforts to support survivors of conflict-related sexual violence.

For this occasion, Sophie accessorized the Etro dress with a longline navy coat from Chloe, ‘Rosalia 65 Ballet Pink Patent Pointed Pumps with Pearl Detail’ from Jimmy Choo, and the ‘East/West Mini Leather Crossbody Bag in Seagrass’ from Strathberry.

The day before, the Duchess had looked equally radiant in a cream fluted dress from Beulah London, paired with Prada heels and the same Chloe coat for warmth.
