The 49-year-old rapper was taken into custody by the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s Gaming Division early Wednesday, August 6, at the Hollywood Casino.

Nelly’s arrest was prompted by a failure-to-appear warrant from 2018 in Maryland Heights.

During the stop, police discovered four ecstasy pills, a controlled substance, and noted that Nelly was driving without insurance. He has since been released.

In his mugshot, first reported by TMZ, Nelly is seen wearing a white T-shirt under a black hoodie.

Nelly, whose full name is Cornell Haynes II, is currently expecting a baby with his partner, singer Ashanti.
