Speaking on the iHeart What The Winkler? podcast with her friend Zoe Winkler, the 44-year-old SKIMS founder shared that she feels like a “single parent,” given her ex-husband Kanye West’s prolonged absence.
West has been in Japan with his new wife, Bianca Censori, and hasn’t seen their kids for about 57 days since his last appearance with them in September.
Kim and Kanye share four children: North, 11, Saint, 8, Chicago, 6, and Psalm, 5. Zoe Winkler remarked that Kardashian’s parenting situation seemed “insane,” to which Kim agreed.
She admitted she rarely discusses raising her kids publicly due to the judgment she often receives, saying, “You and I have mostly connected on parenting and feeling like sometimes you’re in this alone.”
Kim expressed that she is “basically raising four kids by [herself],” likening her daily routine to that of a “pit stop in a race car” due to the constant juggling of tasks.
Despite having a support system and access to help, she highlighted the struggles of handling everything on her own, especially during chaotic moments like bedtime.
Kardashian also revealed that she personally drives her children to school every day, describing it as an essential bonding time, regardless of her busy work schedule.
She recounted the hectic mornings, noting how she often has to get multiple kids ready at once: “I had five kids this morning to take to school, and everyone wanted to leave at different times and needed different things.”
Reflecting on her routine, Kim said she feels overwhelmed at times but continues to prioritize being there for her children, despite the chaos.
