Queen Mary Offers a Glimpse Into Her Private Life With Loyal Canine Companions

Queen Mary is known for her striking public appearances alongside King Frederik, often donning elegant outfits.

However, the 52-year-old Danish Queen recently gave her Instagram followers a rare peek into her life away from the spotlight, featuring two lesser-known members of her household.

Captioning the post “Autumn colours,” Queen Mary shared a charming photo of her border collies, Coco and Grace, during a serene forest walk. The picture, taken by the Queen herself, delighted her followers, sparking praise in the comments.

One fan wrote, “So beautiful! The Queen takes great pictures!” while another added, “The two border collies are my favorite. Compliments to the talented photographer, Queen Mary.”

Border collies, often trained as sheepdogs, are renowned for their intelligence, energy, and loyalty, making them a perfect fit for a royal household where discipline and order are key.

Queen Mary’s love for dogs is well known; she has frequently shown interest in furry companions during public engagements.

In August, she and King Frederik visited Assens, where she affectionately greeted two dogs, with one even giving her a lick on the face.

Queen Mary isn’t the only royal with a talent for photography. The Princess of Wales is also known for capturing candid family moments, sharing photos of Prince William and their children for the public to enjoy.
