The Duke Of Sussex’s Heartwarming Christmas Plans In The UK Revealed

Prince Harry is set to bring festive cheer this holiday season with a special connection to a UK charity close to his heart.

Prince Harry will virtually join a Christmas party hosted by Scotty’s Little Soldiers, a charity dedicated to supporting bereaved military children. Speaking from his home in Montecito, California, the Duke will connect with families and children involved with the organisation in the coming weeks.

Harry has been a global ambassador for Scotty’s Little Soldiers since last year and has supported the charity since 2017. Earlier this year, he surprised attendees at one of their events during a trip to the UK for the Invictus Games’ tenth anniversary.

Founded in 2010 by Nikki Scott after losing her husband in Afghanistan, the charity aims to provide ongoing support to children grieving the loss of a parent in military service. In 2022, Harry delighted young members by dressing as Spider-Man for a special video message during their Christmas party.

Scotty’s Little Soldiers was also among the seven charities Harry and Meghan selected to receive donations in honor of their 2018 wedding.

The Sussexes have not spent Christmas in the UK since 2018 when Meghan was expecting their first child, Prince Archie. After celebrating in Canada in 2019, the couple relocated to the US in 2020, where they now live with Archie, 5, and Lilibet, 3.

In a recent interview with Marie Claire, Meghan shared her love for the holidays, highlighting the importance of family traditions for her children. She described Thanksgiving at home as a mix of food, fun, and games, noting that someone often brings a guitar to add to the festivities.

For Christmas, Meghan emphasized creating magical moments for Archie and Lilibet, including traditions like leaving carrots for reindeer and enjoying family recipes that foster treasured memories.
