The Charming Royal Family Member That Captured Attention At Princess Kate's Christmas Carol Service
A new royal family member has recently captured attention at Princess Kate’s “Together at Christmas” carol service, with photos showing him seated just behind the Princess and her family.
The image quickly went viral, and fans were quick to comment on his striking resemblance to Clark Kent, the alter ego of Superman, as well as his height and “handsome” features.
The gentleman in question is George Gilman, husband of Lady Rose Gilman. Royal enthusiasts might recognize Lady Rose from major royal events, such as King Charles’s coronation in May 2023.
She is the daughter of Prince Richard, Duke of Gloucester, and Birgitte, Duchess of Gloucester. The Duke is 31st in the line of succession, a grandson of George V, and cousin to the late Queen Elizabeth II.
While her father is an active member of the royal family, Lady Rose and George lead a more private life. Rose has had a career in the film industry, including roles in two Harry Potter films and as part of the art department for Little Britain. George, on the other hand, works as the Director of Asset Management at Resolution Property and has over two decades of experience in real estate.
The couple married in a beautiful ceremony at the Queen’s Chapel, St James’ Palace, in July 2008. Rose’s bridal gown was fit for royalty, and she paid homage to her heritage by wearing the Iveagh Tiara— a royal headpiece previously worn by her mother and Princess Alice.
The wedding was attended by several royals, including Princess Anne, Prince Edward and Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh, Peter and Autumn Phillips, Daniel and Lady Sarah Chatto, and a young Princess Kate, who attended solo four years before her own marriage to Prince William.
