Update: Waiter Confesses To Using Cocaine With Liam Payne But Denies Receiving Payment

A waiter linked to the tragic death of singer Liam Payne has admitted to using cocaine with him but denies being a drug dealer or accepting payment for the drugs.

In the upcoming documentary TMZ Investigates: Liam Payne: Who’s to Blame?, airing Monday at 8 PM ET on FOX, Braian Paiz shares his account of partying with Payne in Buenos Aires.

Paiz revealed that he joined Payne in the singer’s hotel room on two occasions, where they consumed whiskey and cocaine that Paiz had brought. The second instance occurred just two days before Payne’s fatal fall from the hotel balcony.

According to Paiz, the hotel room was littered with drugs and other items, such as a Dove soap box and tin foil, which were later seen in photos from the scene.

Despite this, Paiz maintained he was not a drug dealer and claimed he never accepted money from Payne. He even said he declined an offer of a Rolex watch as payment.

“There is one gift he did take from Liam,” Paiz teased in the documentary, hinting at a keepsake he accepted from the late singer.

Paiz is one of five men prosecutors are considering charging in connection with Payne’s death.

The documentary also includes interviews with other key figures, including Payne’s close friend Roger Nores, who faces accusations of supplying drugs and abandoning the singer, and eyewitness Bret Watson, who saw Payne fall to his death.
