Model Discovers Intruder Under Hotel Bed After Noticing Strange Smell

A model has shared her shocking experience during a hotel stay that left her feeling deeply unsettled.

Natalisi Taksisi, a Thailand resident, explained in a TikTok video that she chose Japan as a vacation destination because she believed it was a “very safe country.” She stayed at the APA Hotel & Resort in Tokyo, which seemed like the perfect place at first.

“The place looked legitimate, and I had a key card that gave me access to the hotel and my room,” Taksisi recalled. “The first day went smoothly, and everything seemed fine.”

However, things took a terrifying turn on the second day. After a long day of sightseeing, Taksisi returned to the hotel to rest.

“I got back around 7:30 p.m., unlocked my room, changed, and laid down on the bed,” she said. It was then that she noticed a strange smell in the air.

“At first, I thought it was coming from my hair or the bed sheets, but then I realized it was coming from under the bed.”

Curious and concerned, she leaned over to investigate the source of the odor. What she discovered next was beyond her worst fears.

“When I looked under the bed, I saw a pair of eyes staring back at me. There was a man hiding under my bed, and I screamed, jumping up immediately,” Taksisi explained.

“The man crawled out from under the bed and stared at me for what felt like an eternity. Those few seconds felt like my life was over.”

The intruder then “screamed” before fleeing the room.

Panicked, Taksisi called for the hotel staff, who immediately contacted the police. Authorities found a power bank and USB cable hidden under the bed, but the hotel staff had no explanation for how the intruder had gained access to her room.

“I kept asking the hotel, ‘How did this happen?’ but they had no answers,” she said. “To make things worse, they claimed it would be difficult to identify the man because the hotel had no CCTV cameras.”

The police have yet to track down the intruder, and the influencer was so shaken that she booked another hotel for the night.

She also requested a refund for the $600 she had paid for her stay, but the hotel allegedly did not offer any compensation. When she contacted Agoda, the booking site, they offered her $178 in coupons, which Taksisi called “ridiculous.”

Frustrated, she called the hotel directly, demanding a full refund, and they eventually agreed.

“The rest of the trip was a nightmare,” she admitted. “I couldn’t sleep and was constantly on edge, checking every corner of my room.”

Taksisi remains deeply disturbed by the intrusion and continues to question how the intruder managed to enter her room undetected. “How did someone know I was alone in my room?” she said. “And how could the hotel fail to take responsibility for such a serious safety breach?”

She hopes her traumatic experience will lead the hotel to take “real action” and raise awareness among fellow travelers about the potential risks, even in countries considered safe.
