It seems creativity runs in the family for Princess Beatrice’s stepson, who is already showing a flair for interior design at just nine years old.

Christopher Woolf “Wolfie” Mapelli Mozzi, the son of Beatrice’s husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi and American architect Dara Huang, has started building his very own “mancave” in their stylish London townhouse.

In a video shared by Dara on social media, Wolfie is seen enthusiastically unboxing a red-and-black gaming chair, a matching red clock, and coordinated photo frames for his personalized space.

A Budding Designer in the Making

Wolfie’s eye for design likely comes as no surprise, given his impressive family background.

His father, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, 41, is a property developer and the founder of Banda Property, a high-end property and design firm based in Chelsea. Edoardo is also a descendant of Italian nobility, blending traditional elegance with modern luxury in his work.

Wolfie’s mother, Dara Huang, holds a degree in architecture from the University of Florida and a Master’s from Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design. Her early career included roles at globally renowned architecture firms like Herzog & de Meuron in Switzerland and Foster + Partners in London, where she contributed to major projects including the Tate Modern.

In 2013, Dara founded her own architecture firm, Design Haus Liberty, headquartered in Clerkenwell, London. Her work has taken her around the world, with time spent living and working in the UK, Hong Kong, and New York.

With such strong creative influences, it’s little wonder that young Wolfie is already embracing design on his own terms—starting with a bold and playful mancave that reflects both his personality and artistic heritage.
