President Putin Warns The United States Against Backing Israeli Strikes On Iran Amid Escalating Tensions

Russia has issued a stark warning to the United States, urging Washington not to support Israel’s ongoing bombing campaign against Iran, as fears mount over a broader Middle East conflict.

Speaking on Wednesday, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov cautioned that any U.S. military assistance to Israel could dramatically destabilize the region.

“We are warning the United States against supplying such assistance to Israel — or even considering it,” Ryabkov said, as quoted by the Interfax news agency. He also confirmed that Moscow is in ongoing contact with both Tehran and Tel Aviv in an effort to prevent further escalation.

The warning comes amid heightened speculation that former U.S. President Donald Trump may authorize American involvement in support of Israel. White House officials have reportedly indicated that Iran has a 24 to 48-hour window to respond diplomatically — or face potential U.S. military action.

In a Truth Social post on Tuesday, Trump claimed to know the whereabouts of Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, but stated he would not launch a strike “yet,” before demanding “UNCONDITIONAL SURRENDER!”

Israeli officials, meanwhile, have promised a “surprise” on Thursday night, referencing prior strikes on Hezbollah leadership, raising concerns about a potential escalation or a major regional offensive.

According to ABC News, Trump met with national security advisers in the White House Situation Room earlier this week and expressed growing frustration over Iran’s response to Israel’s bombardments, which began last Friday.

Sources say the former president is wary of appearing weak on Iran and is determined not to allow Tehran to “call his bluff.” Discussions have reportedly included the possibility of targeted U.S. strikes on Tehran.

A White House spokesperson maintained that U.S. forces in the region remain in a “defensive posture,” despite recent military movements involving ships and aircraft being positioned closer to potential conflict zones.

As diplomatic efforts teeter on collapse, the coming days are expected to be pivotal in determining whether the crisis spirals into full-scale regional war or is resolved through negotiation.
