President Trump Claims U.S. Has ‘Total Control’ Of Iranian Airspace Amid Rising Tensions

U.S. President Donald Trump has sparked international alarm after declaring that the United States now holds “complete and total control” of Iran’s airspace, strongly implying American involvement in Israel’s recent military strikes on Iranian territory.

In a series of provocative posts on Truth Social, Trump praised U.S. military superiority and issued thinly veiled threats aimed at Iran’s leadership.

“We now have complete and total control of the skies over Iran,” Trump wrote. “Iran had good sky trackers and other defensive equipment, and plenty of it, but it doesn’t compare to American-made, conceived, and manufactured ‘stuff.’ Nobody does it better than the good ol’ USA.”

In a follow-up message, the president appeared to reference Iran’s Supreme Leader directly: “We know exactly where the so-called ‘Supreme Leader’ is hiding. He is an easy target, but is safe there—for now. We are not going to take him out (kill!), at least not for now. But we don’t want missiles shot at civilians, or American soldiers. Our patience is wearing thin. Thank you for your attention to this matter!”

The remarks come as speculation grows over direct U.S. involvement in a possible strike on Iran’s Fordow nuclear facility, a heavily fortified site buried deep within a mountain. Analysts say such an operation would likely require B-2 stealth bombers equipped with bunker-busting munitions—capabilities only possessed by the U.S. military.

On Tuesday, President Trump confirmed he is pushing for what he called a “real end” to the conflict, making it clear he is not pursuing a traditional ceasefire but rather “a complete give-up by Iran.”

“I think they know not to touch our troops,” Trump said during a press availability. “If they do, it’s gloves off.”

His comments come amid heightened tensions between Israel and Iran following a wave of missile exchanges, with regional stability hanging in the balance.

Trump abruptly left the G7 summit in Canada a day earlier than scheduled, reportedly to return to Washington and monitor the escalating situation in the Middle East.

As of now, the White House has not issued a formal clarification on whether U.S. forces have actively participated in the Israeli operations. However, Trump’s bold statements are likely to fuel concerns about a broader military engagement—and the risk of triggering a larger regional conflict.
