The Aircraft, Carrying 242 Passengers And Crew, Crashed Shortly After Takeoff On Thursday, June 12, After Reporting A Sudden Loss Of Engine Thrust. All On Board Perished—Except Vishwash. His Brother Ajay Was Among The 270 Bodies Recovered From The Crash Site.

Video Footage From The Burial Procession Shows A Visibly Injured Vishwash Supporting Ajay’s Coffin, Surrounded By Mourners In A Solemn Parade Less Than A Week After The Disaster. Family Members From Leicester, UK — Including Vishwash’s Wife And Son — Have Flown To India To Support Him In The Wake Of The Tragedy.

Both Brothers Were Originally From The Coastal Town Of Diu And Had Traveled To India To Visit Family. Local Officials Confirmed That Ajay Was Cremated In His Hometown, Surrounded By Grieving Relatives.

Speaking To DD News, A Still-Shaken Vishwash Recalled The Moments Before Impact:
“When The Flight Took Off, Within Five To 10 Seconds It Felt Like It Was Stuck In The Air. Suddenly, The Lights Started Flickering — Green And White. The Aircraft Wasn’t Gaining Altitude And Was Just Gliding Before It Suddenly Slammed Into A Building And Exploded.”

He Added, “I Saw People Dying In Front Of My Eyes — The Air Hostesses, And Two People Near Me. I Walked Out Of The Rubble.”

The Investigation Into The Cause Of The Crash Is Ongoing.
