Katy Perry sparked romance buzz with former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau as the pair were spotted together on a cozy dinner date in Montreal, Canada.

This comes just weeks after Katy’s split from ex Orlando Bloom was confirmed.

The singer and politician were filmed dining together on Monday at Le Violon restaurant.

In a video obtained by TMZ, the pair leaned over a table towards one another as they intimately chatted.

Perry was looking smitten as she was gesturing to Trudeau who was listening intently.

An eyewitness confirmed that the pair, who were monitored closely by security guards, enjoyed cocktails and shared several dishes, including one with lobster

It has been a tough few months for the duo – with Perry weathering her tough split from fiance Bloom, a flop album, 143, and immense backlash over her April Blue Origin space trip.

Also, Trudeau is navigating life outside of 24 Sussex after his resignation in January following a dramatic fall from grace.

Trudeau shares three children with ex wife Sophie Grégoire Trudeau, from whom he announced a split in August 2023 after 18 years of marriage.
