Prince William Cracks Jokes (And Maybe A Cold One) With Eugene Levy On Apple TV+ Travel Show

Prince William is trading royal duties for bucket-list banter in the latest season of The Reluctant Traveler With Eugene Levy. Apple TV+ has confirmed that the Prince of Wales will make a surprise cameo in the show’s third season, joining host Eugene Levy for a light-hearted moment during a stroll through Windsor Great Park.

The newly released trailer teases the Prince’s appearance at the very end, where the 43-year-old royal is seen joking with Levy, 78. “Is getting drunk with Prince William on your bucket list?” the Prince asks. Levy grins and replies, “That’s the bucket,” prompting laughter from William, who repeats: “That’s the bucket, is it?”

The upcoming eight-episode season sees the Schitt’s Creek star continue his journey to tick off the ultimate travel bucket list. Levy travels across Canada, the US, Austria, England, India, Ireland, Mexico, and South Korea, stepping further out of his comfort zone with each destination.

In the UK segments, viewers will catch glimpses of Levy soaking in the London skyline from the top of an open-top bus and wandering through the historic Quadrangle at Windsor Castle. William and Princess Kate reside nearby at Adelaide Cottage, nestled within the Windsor estate.

“Now that I’m considered something of a traveler, I’ve challenged myself to complete my own bucket list before actually kicking the bucket,” Levy quips in the trailer.

Prince William isn’t the only familiar face to pop up in the new season. The show will also feature appearances by Canadian singer Michael Bublé, Levy’s daughter and Schitt’s Creek co-star Sarah Levy, K-pop group NOWZ, and Indian cricket legend Rahul Dravid.

The timing of Prince William’s segment remains under wraps, and this marks the first time he and Levy have met publicly. However, it’s not the Prince’s first foray into media appearances. In 2021, he featured on Apple’s Time to Walk podcast, discussing mental health while walking through the Sandringham estate. Earlier this year, he also made a guest appearance on Clarkson’s Farm, revealing his eldest son, Prince George, 12, is a fan of the series.
