The Duchess Of Sussex Teases New Career Direction Amid Netflix Show Uncertainty

Meghan Markle may be hinting at a return to her lifestyle roots as uncertainty surrounds the future of her Netflix series, With Love, Meghan.

The Duchess of Sussex, 44, recently took to Instagram to share behind-the-scenes moments from filming the show’s second season — including a rare glimpse of her children, Prince Archie, 6, and Princess Lilibet, 4. Among the curated content was a personalized playlist, featuring nostalgic tracks like The Oogum Boogum Song by Brenton Wood and Van Morrison’s Into the Mystic.

But it was track 17 that sparked speculation — The Frim Fram Sauce by Louis Armstrong and Ella Fitzgerald. The jazz tune shares its name with the parent company that once managed Meghan’s beloved lifestyle blog, The Tig, which she ran from 2014 to 2017. The subtle nod has fans wondering: could Meghan be preparing to revive her lifestyle brand?

A Struggle for Streaming Success

The social media post comes as With Love, Meghan faces challenges gaining traction. Despite anticipation, the second season failed to break into Netflix’s Top 10 global shows for the week of August 25 to 31. Competing titles like Wednesday and UNTAMED outperformed Meghan’s series during its debut week.

In contrast, the first season had a stronger launch — landing in the tenth spot globally and drawing 2.6 million views and over 12 million hours watched just a week after its March release.

A Look Back at The Tig

Meghan launched The Tig during her Suits days as a passion project focused on lifestyle content — including food, fashion, travel, and personal reflections. In the Netflix docuseries Harry & Meghan, close friend Silver Tree described the blog as “your best friend telling you all the fun things you wish you knew about in one place.”

The blog was discontinued in 2017 as Meghan prepared to marry Prince Harry. Reflecting on that decision, she told People:

“I loved The Tig, but I certainly love my husband more. So that was a choice I made at the time, and I wouldn’t change that for a second.”

Still, she acknowledged the joy it brought — and the connection it fostered with Harry early in their relationship:

“My husband met me when I had The Tig, and I see this spark in his eye when he sees me doing the thing that I was doing when he first met me.”

What’s Next for Meghan?

While With Love, Meghan’s future remains unclear, fans are speculating whether a revival of The Tig — or a new venture in the lifestyle space — could be on the horizon. Whether it’s subtle playlist clues or a broader rebrand in the works, Meghan’s latest moves suggest she might just be returning to the creative roots that first captured public attention.
